Stephanotis
Orange blossom and greener leaves lead to stephanotis, jasmine and carnation, with powderier wood beneath.
Stephanotis draws on a white flower associated with bridal bouquets. Its history includes perfume for society weddings at London’s St James’s Church, connecting sweeter flowers with greener freshness. The illustrated presentation is the Eau de Parfum revived within the 2024 Ledger Series.
Orange blossom, petitgrain and galbanum bring brighter leafy greenery around the flowers. Carnation, coriander, lily of the valley, stephanotis and jasmine form the heart, giving the floral combination gentler spice. Musk, powdery notes and sandalwood support the finish, surrounding the blooms with softer, powderier wood.
Consider it for spring outings when white flowers should retain both greenery and softer powder. The wedding connection is its inspiration, rather than a wearing requirement. The illustrated 100mL bottle has rectangular clear glass, a gold cap, a white label, pale yellow liquid and a thick transparent base.
