Rose Geranium
Citronella and greener geranium meet palmarosa, rose and rosewood, with a composed cedar finish.
Rose Geranium recalls a Floris fragrance introduced in 1890 by adding pink geranium to an existing geranium composition. The shop also preserves the record of Marilyn Monroe’s 1959 order. The illustrated presentation is the Eau de Parfum revived within the 2024 Ledger Series.
Citronella, green notes and geranium provide a brighter, greener opening with citrus-like character. Palmarosa, rose and rosewood occupy the heart, surrounding softer flowers with aromatic and woody outlines. Cedar gives the finish a drier, more composed frame, maintaining the freshness around the richer rose.
Consider it for spring outings or everyday clothing when rose should also suggest greener leaves and wood. This is an editorial wearing suggestion. The illustrated 100mL bottle has rectangular clear glass, a gold cap, a green label, pale yellow liquid and a thick transparent base.
