popper-pop
A brief rush of imagined colours and geometric patterns inspires apple, pear, almond, mint, flowers and fragrant woods.
popper-pop takes a brief rush of imagined colours and geometric patterns as its subject. Thirty seconds becomes an image of shifting perception, giving fruit and almond a setting that moves between brighter freshness and rounded sweetness. Mint, flowers and wood surround those softer textures.
Red apple, Nashi pear, sweet almond and mint leaves form the subject; pittosporum, orchid, magnolia and davana the counter-subject; coniferous wood and aromatic woods the tail. Greener leaves, flowers and drier woods surround the juicier fruit and sweeter nut impression.
It suggests fruit and nut sweetness alongside the greener freshness of mint and the texture of wood. The cylindrical 30mL bottle has a red shoulder and base, black label and white X SÉ lettering and product name. A rough black cap and small fastening on the left give the object an industrial form.
