Jasmin Paradis
Sambac jasmine with the green crispness of maté and a quiet incense warmth, conceived as a breath of Mediterranean light.
Perfumer: Alberto Morillas
Élisire frames Jasmin Paradis around a white cloud drifting across a Mediterranean sky and a breeze from a grove in bloom. The opening gathers Italian orange blossom, pink grapefruit, Calabrian bergamot and Tunisian neroli: bright citrus and white petals that read like light-filled air. At the heart, sambac jasmine, jasmine petals and Paradisone keep the flower clear and luminous rather than heavy and sweet, while Uruguayan maté absolute adds a dry, green crispness, like a leaf freshly snapped open. The base sets Yemeni incense and Somalian olibanum with Ambrox and musks, giving the jasmine a quiet resinous warmth from below. Perfumer Alberto Morillas describes a pale grey canvas filled with light and jasmine raised by tears of incense. He compares the result to a pearl necklace that looks classic at first glance, yet is subtly shifted by a spare, exact structure. That idea gives the scent its poise and lightness. It is an Extrait de Parfum at 27% concentration.
