IN THE LOBBY
Bergamot, lemon, green notes and pineapple move through lily of the valley and cardamom to cedarwood, musk and oakmoss, drawn from a hotel lobby after the beach.
As a child, Rina Katsuta spent summers bodyboarding at the Shonan coast. IN THE LOBBY starts from the hotel lobby she stepped into on the way back from the beach, with its cool, clear air and the thrill of feeling slightly grown-up. As the second EAGG collaboration with Katsuta, it follows OOO's theme of beginnings with a longing for a world not yet known.
The scent opens on transparent citrus from bergamot and lemon. Green notes add a leafy edge, and pineapple brings a light sweetness, giving the opening a sunlit brightness.
Lily of the valley then adds a delicate floral trail, joined by the quiet spice of cardamom. This shift, which lays a calmer shade over the fruit, is linked to the feeling of becoming a slightly different person while traveling.
The finish is cedarwood, musk and oakmoss. Dry wood, soft musk and the faint shade of oakmoss leave a sense of refinement and open space, like the air drifting through a hotel lobby.
