I Don't Know What Perfume Oil
A roll-on enhancer its creator calls a fragrance made with no notes: a structure of highlighting materials, worn alone or layered with another scent.
Perfumer: David Seth Moltz
I Don't Know What was made as a tool for anyone who wants to play around with perfume. D.S. & Durga presents it as an enhancer of transparent radiance that gives any aromatic material a certain, as the French say, "I don't know what."
By the creator's account, it is made with no notes: a secret combination of the materials perfumers use to highlight and enhance others. A bergamot accord announces freshness, vetiver acetate lends a thin amber, Firsantol a lingering sandalwood and Iso E Super a radiance, with civettone and Ambrox Super in the base. The creator likens it to a building with only structure and no interior, which can be filled with an oil, a favorite scent, even an old scent that has lost its way.
As a 10 mL roll-on, the perfume oil sets that transparent radiance close to the skin. It can be worn alone as a modern, transparent aroma or layered with another scent.
