Oud sits at the centre of Énbarr, chosen as the most storied material a perfumer can reach for.
Its imagery is equine: horses running through history, their manes lifted by spring wind across fields of thyme and geranium.
Geranium and saffron open with force, bringing a polished oud and the broad scent of a saddler's leather with them. Wild thyme threads through the plum-and-patchouli heart, a herbal, slightly dry beat that keeps the richness moving. Below, Vietnamese agarwood joins Laotian Siam benzoin, Somali incense, Macedonian oakmoss and Indian nagarmotha.
