RÒS
Bright bergamot meets a deeper garden rose, anise, spices and darker amber warmth.
Perfumer: Laurent Le Guernec
RÒS grew from a collaboration between the New York Botanical Garden’s gardeners and Laurent Le Guernec. Its inspiration is the living scent of the Scepter’d Rose in the Peggy Rockefeller Rose Garden. Densely layered petals and its myrrh-like character inform the richer shadows of this rose fragrance.
Bergamot brings brightness before a deeper rose occupies the centre. Rare spices, anise and dark amber form the finish, adding warmer shadow around the floral presence. Luminous citrus introduces an interplay of softer petals and darker, more resinous warmth.
Consider it when rose should have more defined spice as well as floral softness. This eau de parfum connects the garden flower with quieter warmth. Its illustrated 100mL presentation has pale liquid in tall cylindrical glass, a gold sculpted pedestal-like cap, front embossing and a thick clear base.
