Elixir of Love draws on a formula preserved in the house’s archive to express a more intimate floral romance. Its 2024 relaunch centres on passionflower around softer blooms and herbs. Fresher impressions and gentler warmth coexist within a blue presentation that evokes a quieter night.
Lavender bud gives an aromatic opening. Jasmine, passionflower and wormwood form the heart, joining sweeter white flowers with a greener, slightly bitter definition. Egyptian musk and white woods follow, receiving the softer petals with a smoother texture.
Consider it for quieter evening time or when sweeter flowers should also retain herbal freshness. This eau de toilette has a more personal character. The illustrated 60mL bottle combines short cobalt-blue cylindrical glass, a gold sculpted pedestal-like cap and embossed front lettering.
