801 Blu Palermo
Hokusai’s Great Wave becomes citrus, sea spray and rosemary, grounded in cedar, cypress and white musk.
Perfumer: Karine Dubreuil-Sereni
801 Blu Palermo answers Ludovic Bonneton’s wish for a perfume that could make its wearer feel lost in the middle of the sea. Karine Dubreuil-Sereni enjoyed translating Hokusai’s Great Wave off Kanagawa into fragrance.
Lemon, mandarin and grapefruit introduce vivid citrus peel and juicy tartness. Sea spray, rosemary and pink pepper join coastal air with Mediterranean herbs and cooler spice. Cedar, cypress and white musk provide drier and greener woods with a softer finish.
This eau de parfum is shown in square 100mL glass. It suits mornings when the clarity of the sea feels most appealing alongside bright citrus and distinct herbs.
