O/E is built on paradox and oxymoron. An extrait de parfum from 2015, it imagines a place halfway between acoustic and electric, natural and synthetic, outdoors and indoors, the past and the future. Two images make the contrast most concrete: a forest in spring and a motel room with green carpet.
Its greens range widely too, running from citrus to leaves by way of oxidised copper and fruit. It brings together bright, shining citrus, naturally green spices and florals, wood notes and sheer synthetics. Bergamot, rosemary and thyme bring brightness, while juniper, pine and cypress hold the forest side.
