Opulence

Opulence is built around the contrast between ripe plum and cypriol. Its name suggests abundance and indulgence, while the house places the perfume within its idea of fragrance as scented armour carried into everyday life.

Saffron, cardamom and plum form the opening. Dry spice meets the dense sweetness of fruit, establishing a forceful beginning. Jasmine and violet then introduce a floral layer around cashmeran and leather, bringing softer flower tones into contact with woody and leathery textures.

Cypriol is central to the base. Also known as nagarmotha, it is described by the house through bitter herbal, leathery and charred-wood impressions. Its smoky character provides a counterweight to the richness of the plum.

Sandalwood, incense and moss extend the woody and smoky layers, while vanilla, amber and musk temper their weight. The composition follows that exchange between sweetness and darker materials, allowing the ripe fruit to move into a deep, resinous and smoky setting without losing its place at the centre.
