Boadicea the Victorious

1907 100mL ボトル

1907 takes its name from the founding year of Neiman Marcus, the department store established in Dallas. The NM on the bottle refers to the same store. The perfume connects the pleasure of choosing fine goods in a special setting with a composition that draws on vintage perfumery.

Cardamom, cinnamon, lemon and pink pepper introduce bright citrus and warmer spice. Cassis adds a fruitier character, developing an opening that the brand compares to a sparkling Kir Royale. These different impressions place fruit and spice together at the start of the composition.

Nutmeg, sage, violet and Cashmeran form the centre. Fresher herbs meet spice, softer flowers and a woody texture. From the brightness of the opening, the fragrance moves toward woods and resins, following the brand's image of evening gradually deepening.

Amber, benzoin, cedarwood, moss, musks, tobacco and tonka beans form the base. Smokier wood and tobacco meet the warmth of resins and the sweeter character of tonka. The deeper woody and ambery textures support the brighter citrus, fruit and herbs, continuing the composition's reference to an earlier style of perfumery.
