Tanger
A Moroccan garden inspires Sylvie Fischer’s bright pairing of neroli and orange blossom with herbaceous maté and musk.
Perfumer: Sylvie Fischer
Tanger follows an imagined walk through a white Moroccan city, from the movement of the old medina to the scented air of a garden. Sylvie Fischer takes inspiration from old bitter-orange, orange and lemon trees, bringing their fruit and flowers into the same composition.
Bergamot and mandarin supply brightness. Neroli has a refreshing, tangy character beside the sweet warmth of orange blossom, allowing citrus and flowers to remain closely connected.
Herbaceous maté and musk support the pairing. The result keeps floral softness together with a green botanical dimension. Fruit, flowers and leaves provide a way to picture the city's white walls, blue doors and shaded gardens through fragrance.
