Sweet Like Candy Limited Edition (2017)
Berry tartness and marshmallow sweetness in a scarlet 2017 limited-edition bottle.
For 2017, Sweet Like Candy was recast in matte red: a faceted bottle with a silver cap and a scarlet pom-pom. Ariana was excited to share this limited edition with her fans, and looked forward to seeing their photos of the bottle.
The scent rests on musk, liquid amber and lightly sweetened marshmallow, with a whipped cream accord adding soft volume. Against that sweetness, red berries and blackcurrant bring small flashes of tartness, while pear adds juiciness and bergamot a brighter edge, keeping the confection from turning heavy.
At the center sit jasmine sambac, honeysuckle and frangipani, whose nectar-like floral sweetness links the fruit to the cream. Cashmere wood and amber lend the whole a gentle warmth. This limited edition layers tart, sweet fruit with the softness of cream and marshmallow.
