Sweet Like Candy

Here the sweetness starts with blackberry dusted in sugar. The idea comes from Ariana's flirtatious, playful side, imagined as a sweet daydream that teases temptation.

Italian bergamot gives the dark berry a bitter-edged citrus lift, and pear adds watery freshness, so the sugar does not turn heavy too soon. The heart moves into flowers with jasmine sambac, frangipani and dewy honeysuckle: rich blossoms from the first two, nectar-like sweetness from the last, linking fruit to flower.

At the base, crème de cassis brings a deep, liqueur-like sweet-tartness. Fluffy marshmallow and vanilla wrap around it, while cashmere woods lay a warm woody layer underneath, keeping the finish from becoming pure confection.
