Pink Iris
A bright floral where powdery iris meets the tingle of Sichuan pepper and fresh basil.
Perfumer: Isaac Sinclair
Abel compares Pink Iris to a classic trench: elegant and timeless, yet at ease with a modern wardrobe. It is an ode to iris, the house's queen of scent, with pepper and green leaves set against a powdery softness.
Sichuan pepper, basil and raspberry leaf open into orris root, rose and jasmine. The sweetness of petals sits beside the drier, root-like character of iris.
The materials include French orris butter, Chinese Sichuan pepper oil, basil oil from the Comoros Islands and Bulgarian rose absolute. Vanilla and musk support the finish while the herbs keep a brighter character within the powder. A composed floral impression shares space with that fresh green edge.
