Green Cedar
A vibrant aromatic wood pairing magnolia and cardamom with Texas and Atlas cedar.
Perfumer: Isaac Sinclair
Towering trees, damp earth underfoot and dew still on the leaves are the images behind Green Cedar. Abel's founder also refers to the Japanese practice of forest bathing when describing the feeling of being surrounded by woodland.
Cool cardamom meets the velvety bloom of magnolia. Cypriol adds an earthy dryness, while guaiac wood brings a softly smoky character, giving the woods several different textures.
Texas and Atlas Mountain cedars form the base. The materials include an upcycled American cedarwood oil distilled twice, alongside cedarwood oil from Morocco. Their dry grain and richer warmth are held within the brighter floral and aromatic notes.
