Cobalt Amber
A sweet, sultry amber where juniper and pink pepper sharpen golden amber and creamy vanilla.
Perfumer: Isaac Sinclair
Golden amber meets crushed juniper and pink pepper in Cobalt Amber. Abel's founder imagines a fragrance that can move from day to night and work to play, with spice giving the smooth sweetness a sharper edge.
Dry pink pepper and the green bitterness of juniper berry lead into cacao, Peru balsam and sandalwood. Cacao supplies a bitter facet, balsam a resinous sweetness, and sandalwood a softer woody texture.
Tonka, amber and leather form a base with both warmth and darker shading. Peru balsam oil from El Salvador and pink pepper extract from Reunion Island are among the materials behind this relationship. The spices keep a bright presence within the rounded amber.
