About Studio Flair
Studio Flair is an independent fragrance studio based in Paris. Established by Amélie Bourgeois, Anne-Sophie Behaghel and Martine Denisot, it brings several perfumers’ individual approaches together in fragrances, cosmetics and olfactory art.
Career
Bourgeois and Behaghel learned to compose at Cinquième Sens with Monique Schlienger, before founding the studio with Denisot in 2012. Direct collaborations with independent brands shaped its early work, followed by the arrival of younger perfumers and specialists in olfactory art. Its practice now extends beyond fragrances worn on skin to scents created for spaces and artistic materials, keeping conversation with the commissioning creator central to each project.
Creative Style & Philosophy
The studio values an open palette, drawing on a broad range of materials rather than restricting its approach to a single supplier’s style. Bourgeois’s interest in natural textures and nuanced harmony sits alongside Behaghel’s more urban, experimental expression, allowing different creative directions within the same team. Listening directly to a brand’s story, refining trials through dialogue and respecting each perfumer’s individual voice are central to its way of working.
Signature Works
- *Ambre Extrait de Parfum* for Les Eaux Primordiales — Co-created with Arnaud Poulain, combining fruit, spices, vanilla and tobacco around the warmth of red amber.
- *Eau de Toilette* for Enfance Paris — Bourgeois and Behaghel reworked the cologne tradition into a fresh, musky fragrance intended to be shared by a family.
