About Roxanne Kirkpatrick
Roxanne Kirkpatrick is a perfumer whose foundation includes classical training in Paris and work on fragrances for global brands at Givaudan. Sovereign Fragrance introduces her as its Principal Perfumer, with a first-person account of what craftsmanship means in her practice.
Career
Her official résumé of creations and co-creations during her Givaudan career includes Frassaï Teisenddu, La Perla Villa Sorrento and Hugo Boss Hugo Jeans, among other fragrances. The list reflects experience with major international brands as well as projects shaped around more individual narratives. It does not imply that every listed perfume was composed by her alone.
Creative Style & Philosophy
Kirkpatrick describes craftsmanship as carrying the love, passion and joy of the studio into something another person can discover. For her, a fragrance can become an emotional support as well as a beautiful smell. That emphasis places the feeling of creation alongside the experience of wearing a perfume: the work is complete when the wearer encounters the intention held in it. Her own explanation focuses on human experience and purposeful making.
