About Daniela Andrier

Daniela Andrier is a Master Perfumer at Givaudan. She has played a major role in Prada fragrance and received The Fragrance Foundation USA Lifetime Achievement Perfumer Award in 2025.

Career

She studied philosophy at the Sorbonne in Paris before turning to perfumery. In 1988, she began her career as an intern at Chanel and later joined the Roure Perfumery School, now part of Givaudan. She continues to work within Givaudan's creative team.

Creative Style & Philosophy

Her official remarks describe an interest in unexpected combinations of color and in blending the rare with the ordinary. She resists clichés and the pressure to appear modern for its own sake, instead grounding her work in humility, tradition, and culture.

Givaudan highlights Prada Les Infusions, Yves Saint Laurent MYSLF, created with Christophe Raynaud and Antoine Maisondieu, and Fragonard Fleur d'Oranger among her celebrated works.
