About Céline Perdriel
Céline Perdriel is a French perfumer whose early scent memories come from the countryside of southwest France and her artisan grandfather’s workshop. In official interviews she describes seasonal plants and the aromas of orange blossom, lemon, and vanilla as formative references. These memories underpin a practice attentive to materials, texture, and the emotional continuity of scent.
Career
After studying chemistry, Perdriel trained in perfumery at ISIPCA and completed work experience at Synarome. She built an international career across France and other markets and now works as a senior perfumer with Cosmo International Fragrances. Her collaboration with Atelier Materi began in 2020 and has produced several of the house’s defining material-led compositions.
Creative Style & Philosophy
Perdriel treats raw materials as textures and builds contrasts between transparency and density, quietness and force. Official interviews highlight her attraction to clary sage, Ambroxan, cacao, resins, and tonka. Her compositions preserve surprise while remaining controlled and naturally elegant, allowing a central material to change character over time.
