About Smokewood Fusion

Smokewood Fusion brings smoke and wood together as a woody olfactory character. Drier wood and a softer suggestion of smouldering embers provide an aromatic reference, with warmer woody substance beneath the smoky impression. The direction calls to mind the quieter aftermath of a fire, where the texture of wood remains noticeable around a gentler veil of smoke.

Scent Profile

**Dry woody depth meets a softer smoky shading.** Warmer resin and supple leather nearby can bring the difference between the firmer wood and the more diffuse smoky impression into focus. In a sweeter setting, that shading can provide a contrast around brighter gourmand or fruity impressions, giving the combination a darker outline while allowing the other materials to remain apparent.

Use in Perfumery

The character can be explored in woody, leathery and resinous compositions when a smokier depth is wanted. Cedar and guaiac wood offer connections to drier wood, while labdanum and tobacco provide possible links to warmer textures and darker aromatic impressions. Flowers and fruit can also sit above a setting of smoke and wood, creating a relationship between a brighter surface and more settled shading beneath it.
