About Coral Jasmine
Coral jasmine brings a warmer, luminous impression to a white floral composition. The name is also used for Nyctanthes arbor-tristis, a member of the olive family whose white petals surround a distinctive orange tube. That shrub or tree is native from the Himalaya into Southeast Asia and parts of Indonesia, and belongs to a different genus from the plants usually called true jasmine.
Scent Profile
**Luminous warmth and softer white flowers** are the centre of its perfumery character. It can give a floral bouquet a smoother, glowing outline, allowing sweetness to feel more rounded rather than sharp or overtly sugary. Among richer white floral materials, the effect offers a gentler sense of warmth, keeping the flowers bright while connecting their softer facets to the rest of the composition.
Use in Perfumery
Coral jasmine can give white florals and floral amber compositions a warmer, more radiant character. Tuberose and jasmine build a fuller bouquet around it, while vanilla and Peru balsam connect the softer flowers with creamy sweetness and a more enveloping resinous background. Citrus can offer another direction, giving the luminous floral character a fresher outline and a lighter impression around the warmth.
