About ROOM 1015

ROOM 1015 is a French fragrance house that draws on music and counterculture. Its founder, Michael Partouche, trained in pharmacy and also worked as a musician. He is known as Dr. Mike.

History

Partouche studied pharmacy in Paris and played guitar in a rock band in London. Those two worlds eventually led him to choose fragrance as a means of expression. The name refers to Room 1015 in a Los Angeles hotel, a room associated with stories from rock history.

Philosophy & Signature Style

The house calls its approach “olfactory counterculture”. Its fragrances draw on music and ways of life, exploring love and self-expression as well as rebellion. Working with perfumers, the brand gives each composition a story of its own.

Iconic Fragrances

Cherry Punk combines cherry and leather in a fragrance inspired by punk. The house connects Cherry Punk to London punk style, from leather jackets to independent fanzines, balancing a sweet impression with the movement’s raw energy. Sonic Flower takes its cue from women who reshaped music, while Wavechild celebrates surf culture through notes including watermelon and coconut. Together, they show how the house moves between different scenes and moods.
