Perfumer H is a London fragrance house founded in 2015 by British perfumer Lyn Harris. Its name foregrounds the maker's profession and initial, placing the perfumer's point of view at the center of the house.
History
Harris co-founded Miller Harris in 2000 and left in 2013 before creating a more personal working space under the Perfumer H name. The brand launched in Japan through Arts & Science in July 2020 and opened its first Japanese shop at Isetan Shinjuku in November 2024. Its London stores keep the laboratory and the retail experience close, making the process of composition part of the public identity.
Philosophy & Signature Style
The house translates memories of season, place, light, and air into restrained olfactory landscapes. Fine materials are paired with quiet, modern structures rather than theatrical excess. Perfume is only one part of the experience: Michael Ruh's hand-blown glass, candles, incense, and potpourri extend scent from the body into daily space. Refillable formats also give craft objects a longer life.
