About Giardini di Toscana
Giardini di Toscana is an artistic perfumery brand based in Bibbiena, a medieval village in the Casentino valley of Tuscany, where co-founder and perfumer Silvia Martinelli composes every fragrance in the collection.
History
The family story begins in 1942, when Silvia's grandparents opened a small shop selling fragrances and ointments in Bibbiena. Growing up in the family perfumery gave her an intimate knowledge of scent and of the people who chose it. She later created a line of artistic fragrances for the boutique, which gradually grew into a brand in its own right.
Philosophy & Signature Style
The house describes its purpose as giving voice to emotions through scent, drawing inspiration from people, memories and places. Its approach pairs tradition with modernity, favoring refined raw materials, time-honored techniques and long-lasting compositions, all grounded in a craft passed down through four generations of one family. Silvia, who studied at perfumery schools in Italy and France, sees each fragrance as an extension of the person who wears it.
Iconic Fragrances
Bianco Latte combines caramel, honey and vanilla with a soft gourmand warmth. Borabora draws on the freedom of an island holiday, bringing white flowers together with coconut milk and a sweet, radiant base. These contrasting compositions show how familiar scent impressions become a starting point for comfort, memory and imagined places.
