First Body translates the excitement of a first encounter into a contrast between sweetness and smoky woods. Saffron and jasmine introduce a jam-like sweetness, with a spicier character emerging alongside the floral opening. The idea is intimate and personal: the memory of a fascinating person's scent.
Amberwood forms the middle, followed by fir resin and cedar in the base. These woods and resin give a drier counterpoint to the sweeter opening. The composition develops through their relationship, rather than remaining a straightforward sweet floral, and the smoky woody impression helps carry the encounter at the heart of the fragrance's story.
This is a 12mL perfume oil based on grape seed oil. A roller applies it directly to the skin rather than dispersing it as a spray, and a velvet pouch accompanies the bottle. The portable format allows fragrance to be added to a wrist or another pulse point.
A black cylindrical cap tops the clear glass bottle, with the name printed vertically along its side. The small, simple package holds the fragrance's combination of sweet flowers, spice, resin and wood.
