Lethe
Bergamot and lavender give way to water lily, soft woods and a warm musky base.
Perfumer: Frank Voelkl
Lethe takes its name from the river of forgetting in Greek mythology. The brand uses that image to suggest stepping away from an unsettled world and finding warmth in love. Bergamot brings a clear brightness at the opening, paired with the clean, herbal character of lavender. In the heart, airy water lily sits alongside cedar wood and the soft texture of cashmere wood. Musk, amber, tonka bean and vanilla form a warmer, gently sweet base. The fragrance moves from crispness toward a softer embrace, giving the brand’s idea of simplicity a distinct shape through a contrast of crisp herbs and enveloping woods.
