About This Fragrance
During a trip to Lake Maggiore, Paolo and Tiziana encountered Val d'Ossola and the tea plantation at Premosello. They were struck by the care behind every step, from cultivating *Camellia sinensis* to tending each leaf by hand. That encounter led them to create *Osola*. Tea sits at the center of the inspiration, accompanied in the composition by citrus, coconut, flowers, almond, musk, and woods.
Scent Profile
At the top, green and black tea from Verbano set a leafy, gently bitter tone. Brazilian petitgrain adds a green-citrus edge; mandarin from Lake Maggiore and Sorrento lemon brighten it. Brazilian coconut and coconut milk bring a velvety creaminess that softens the sharper edges without hiding the tea. The heart pairs Thai ylang-ylang, Mexican tuberose, and orange blossom from Lake Maggiore with cedarwood from Lake Trasimeno and Sicilian almond: white flowers sit against a dry woody note and a rounded nutty impression. The base sets Madagascar bourbon vanilla with white musk, oak wood from Piedmont, and ambergris, balancing vanilla's sweetness with soft musk and wood.
A Tea-Led Creaminess
Osola's tea accord isn't austere: coconut milk, white flowers, and vanilla round its leafy edge; cedar and oak keep that creaminess from turning sugary.
