About This Fragrance
The creation takes its name and spiritual foundation from the eyes of cubia, the circular bow apertures on historic sailing ships through which anchor chains pass, traditionally ringed with painted eyes to ward off misfortune and guide sailors safely across hazardous waters. Drawing upon the nautical traditions of Cattolica, the seaside hometown of the Terenzi family where these protective eyes serve as the municipal emblem, the composition translates this talismanic tradition into an olfactory tribute to good fortune and serenity.
