ムーンミルク 30mL ボトル

Moonmilk translates the image of moonlight collecting on pale cave stone into a sandalwood eau de parfum. Stora Skuggan takes its starting point from the sixteenth-century naturalist Conrad Gessner’s account of a mountain and its caves, with a story of white liquid dripping from limestone. The contrast between solid rock and milky softness gives the fragrance its imaginative setting. Tomas Hempel created it, and it was released in 2017.

Mysore sandalwood is the central reference: smooth, creamy wood illuminated by lime and mandarin. Black tea adds a dry texture that keeps the composition from becoming sugary. Cardamom and black pepper define its edges, while lily of the valley supplies a softer floral connection. Rather than a sweet milk dessert, the fragrance presents different aspects of sandalwood through citrus, tea and spice.

The 30mL bottle pairs a large pale cream sphere with clear rectangular glass. Its quiet woody character suits unhurried moments; cooler conditions can bring attention to the spices, while warmth makes the citrus-and-tea contrast easier to notice.
