Rose de nuit

A shadowy, powdery rose chypre where Turkish rose, beeswax and amber melt into velvety musks and woods, more animalic fur than fresh petals, perfect for contemplative nights and intimate indoor wear.

Scent Development and Character

A dark, film‑noir rose chypre, powdery and musky rather than dewy, where a shadowed Turkish rose is woven with waxy honeyed nuances, amber and woods. Jasmine and apricot give a faint golden glow through the mist, before the scent dries down into a velvety, animalic musk and ambered beeswax, more fur mantle than fresh bouquet.

Who It Is For and When to Wear It

Best suited to cool evenings and indoor settings where its powdery, animalic rose chypre character can unfold slowly—formal dinners, quiet bars, or solitary, contemplative nights rather than casual daytime wear. Most suited to autumn and winter wear; can work on cool spring evenings but is generally too heavy for hot summer days. Sillage is Moderate to strong projection in the first few hours, then settling closer to the skin as a velvety, intimate trail. Longevity is Long‑lasting on most skins, often 7–10 hours with a softer but persistent drydown of musk, amber and beeswax.
