La proie pour l'ombre
A shadow-drenched leather framed by bitter licorice and warmed from within by subdued vanilla. It opens dry and slightly smoky, then softens into a velvety, ambered glow that stays close to the skin, like a polished hide caught between substance and shadow.
Scent Development and Character
A dense, shadowy leather-vanilla composition wrapped in the bittersweet darkness of licorice. The opening feels dry and slightly smoky, with the supple leather stitched to a woody, resinous structure. As it develops, a warm vanilla glow softens the edges, turning the licorice from sharp and herbal to velvety and almost gourmand, without ever becoming overtly sweet. The whole stays close to the skin, like a second, polished leather layer hovering between light and shadow.
Who It Is For and When to Wear It
Best suited to cool evenings and introspective moments, this reserved leather-vanilla blend wears like a dark, tailored garment. Its controlled sweetness and relatively quiet projection make it appropriate for elegant dinners, galleries, or dimly lit bars where you want a mysterious, intimate aura rather than loud sillage. Particularly suited to autumn and winter, when its warm, shadowy leather-amber character feels enveloping; it can also work on cool spring nights but may be heavy in high summer. Sillage is Moderate to discreet sillage: noticeable in close proximity but generally restrained, forming a soft aura rather than a wide trail. Longevity is Long-lasting on skin, often around 7–9 hours, with the leather-vanilla base persisting well into the drydown.
