Fumerie turque

A honey‑smoked oriental centered on blond tobacco, where sweet resins and soft florals curl into a dense amber haze. Smoky yet velvety, it clings to the skin like scented smoke in a quiet harem, ideal for cool evenings when you want enveloping warmth and depth.

Scent Development and Character

A dense, honeyed **smoky oriental** built around blond tobacco wrapped in soft resins, whispers of rose and a balsamic sweetness that hovers between amber and dried flowers. The opening feels sweet yet slightly tarry, then deepens into a warm haze of tobacco, honey and woods with a faint leather‑like dryness and powdery curl. As it dries down, the smoke softens, the sweetness thickens into beeswax and amber, and a gauzy floral shadow lingers over a woody, musky base.

Who It Is For and When to Wear It

Best suited to cool weather, especially autumn and winter evenings, where its honeyed smoke and dense warmth can unfold without overwhelming. Works for contemplative time alone, intimate gatherings, and dressy occasions where a sophisticated, characterful oriental is appropriate rather than for casual daytime or hot climates. Primarily an autumn and winter scent; can work in early spring evenings but is generally too dense and warm for hot summer wear. Sillage is Moderate to strong: noticeable aura for the first few hours, then settling into a closer, smoky-amber veil rather than a large room-filling trail. Longevity is Long-lasting: commonly reported 7–10 hours on skin with a pronounced drydown that clings close after an initially stronger phase.
