Scent Development and Character
A dark, enveloping eau de parfum that opens with aromatic lavender brushed by soft herbal facets, soon wrapped in a tender almond accord that feels nutty yet slightly bitter-sweet. As it settles, gentle sweet and abstract aromatic notes deepen into a smoky, ambery dusk, suggesting fabric warmed by skin rather than overt gourmand richness.
Who It Is For and When to Wear It
Best suited to evening or contemplative moments, Fourreau noir wears like a dark, intimate veil, pairing naturally with tailored black clothing, quiet bars or solitary walks in cool air. Its restrained projection makes it adaptable to formal settings where a subtle yet distinctive presence is desired. Most evocative in autumn and winter, when cool air complements its warm, smoky sweetness; in spring it can work for evenings, while it may feel heavy in peak summer heat. Sillage is Moderate sillage that forms a close, enveloping aura rather than a large trail, staying intimate but perceptible to those nearby. Longevity is Long-lasting on skin, often remaining noticeable for 8 hours or more, with the smoky sweet base lingering particularly well on fabric.
