Linen Citrus
A citrus floral musk built around the moment of pressing your face into crisp, freshly dried linen. Lemon, tangerine and orange open with juice and zest, freesia and magnolia soften the middle, and musk with amber settles close to the skin.
Lemon, tangerine and orange arrive first. All three pull in the same direction, but they do different work: lemon carries a bitter edge of peel, while tangerine and orange supply the fleshier sweetness. The effect is less a burst than the moment freshly squeezed juice transfers into the air.
Freesia and magnolia enter next and loosen the citrus outline. Freesia brings a restrained, soap-like cleanliness; magnolia adds a little weight and density to the flowers, with rose and orchid filling the space between. The citrus does not stand beside the bouquet as an equal. It sits underneath, and the florals settle over it in a thin layer.
Musk and amber close the composition. The musk stays close to the skin, soft rather than powdery, and the amber adds a faint warmth without turning sweet. The overall finish is dry and composed, closer to the feel of laundered cloth than to a dessert accord.
