Sublime Blossom

Sublime Blossom takes inspiration from people who love flowers and the art of floristry. The Secret Garden and flowers leading towards an English garden inform its subject. Neroli and fruit open a path through white blossoms, balanced by creamier textures and drier wood.

Bergamot, lemon, sweet orange and neroli provide the opening. Jasmine, orange blossom, freesia, privet flower, honeysuckle and ylang-ylang form the heart. Sandalwood, ambergris, driftwood, sweet musks and vanilla give the fuller flowers a gentler foundation.

Choose it for a day when white flowers should feel bright and varied. An afternoon visiting gardens or a gathering in lighter-coloured clothes can suit it. Several floral characters share the composition, allowing the bouquet to suggest a garden rather than one isolated bloom.

Composed by Bertrand Duchaufour, the eau de parfum appeared in 2019 and launched in Japan on 24 April 2020. The illustrated 100mL bottle has a soft beige rectangular body and gold cap, giving the flower-inspired subject a quieter visual setting.
