Rose

Rose was the first fragrance in the Supercritique collection. The house reimagines the flower in an Eastern palace, comparing it to the Queen of Sheba surrounded by spiced tea and incense. Arnaud Poulain created the eau de parfum in 2018.

Pink pepper and bergamot add a lightly spicy brightness. Rose, blackcurrant and cardamom combine floral fullness with tart green fruit and warmer spice in the heart. Myrrh, incense and Ambroxan provide resinous depth and a drier, smooth finish. Incense-like calm supports the rose’s richer expression.

The white cylindrical 100mL bottle carries a square black cap and a fine gold line across its label. It is a thoughtful evening choice for a rose accompanied by spice and resin, especially when the depth of incense is part of the appeal.
