Poppy & Barley
A field poppy tucked between ripe blackcurrant and soft, grainy barley.

Poppy & Barley takes its setting from cereal fields where grain and flowers grow together. The poppy, a flower closely tied to the English landscape, is the centre of the composition.
Barley is the more unusual half of the name. In the base it reads as an airy wood with a musky, cereal tone, and alongside bran it wraps the flower in something cotton-soft.
At the top, ripe blackcurrant brings juice and a crisp edge. Rose and violet round out the fresh, green edge of the poppy accord. The grain gives the bright floral heart a softer texture.
