Myrrh & Tonka
Lavender lends a cool aromatic opening before myrrh develops a warm resinous body. Tonka adds rounded sweetness with almond and vanilla facets.
Composition
The official pyramid lists lavender at the top, Omumbiri myrrh in the heart and tonka bean in the base. Part of Cologne Intense, it draws inspiration from Namibia and keeps its centre of gravity in balsamic warmth.
Wearing it
Its rich resin and sweetness suggest cool autumn and winter weather or relaxed evenings. Editorial estimates are long persistence and moderate projection; skin, climate and application can change both.
Perfumer and bottle
Created by Mathilde Bijaoui and launched in 2017. The current 100 mL presentation uses a deep brown rectangular bottle, a rounded metallic cap and lettering on the front.
