Emerald Thyme
An aromatic citrus of lemon, thyme and rosemary over a cushion of moss, inspired by a botanical concoction.
Emerald Thyme takes its cue from a botanical concoction, a mixture of herbs prepared together. It is one of four colognes in Jo Malone London's limited 2024 collection, which draws on memory-laden objects found at British antique markets.
Lemon opens it with a quick, bright sourness. Sprigs of thyme and rosemary then pull the citrus toward something savoury and resinous, while a layer of moss underneath keeps the herbs from turning sharp.
The opening brightness of lemon passes into thyme and settles on geranium, a green floral with a faint rose-like quality.
