Ingenious Ginger

Ingenious Ginger imagines a scent for the unscented torch ginger lily. Composed by Hamid Merati-Kashani, it takes native Red Back Ginger from Australia's Atherton Tablelands as the starting point for a floral amber interpretation of the tropical flower.

Australian Ginger Flower Accord brings a fresher spicy expression alongside the brightness of Brazilian mandarin and Italian bergamot. The flower's visual character becomes the subject of an aromatic idea, expressed through vivid citrus and the sparkle of ginger.

Chinese magnolia and neroli provide softer white floral textures. Their petals connect the brighter citrus and spice with a fuller floral character, bringing several different expressions of freshness and softness into the same composition.

Vanilla and amber add a rounded sweetness, accompanied by the warmth of Australian sandalwood. Presented as an eau de parfum with a stated concentration of 20%, Ingenious Ginger connects bright fruit and aromatic spice with softer flowers and wood, giving the imagined ginger-flower theme a warm surrounding texture.
