Fugazzi's reworking of oudh for a new generation: several woods softened with a light floral touch and fluffy musks into an airy, close-wearing woody scent.
Cloudh Nine grew out of Fugazzi's wish to rethink oudh for a new generation, and the name slips the word into its spelling. Instead of weight, the aim is a woody scent made soft and airy by layering several woods. At the top, Petalia and Mahonial bring a pale floral brightness to the wood. The heart pairs the gentle sweetness of tonka bean with fluffy musks and the mineral warmth of Ambrofix, blurring the edges like a cloud. Underneath, Akigalawood, Georgywood and gaiac wood give a dry, spicy grain, a smooth woody surface and a faint smoky shade. The brand describes it as a scent that wears close to the skin and draws people in without overwhelming them. Try a light application on days when you want wood to feel easy rather than heavy.
