French Rose
An armful of roses held close, brightened by tart cassis, filled out with creamy gardenia and left to settle into musk and amber.
French Rose is built around a single, close-up scene: a bundle of roses drawn right up to the face. The rose leads, as the name promises, but the brand frames it in terms of grown-up allure, steering the bouquet toward a quiet sensuality beneath its brightness.
The opening sets hyacinth, cassis and violet side by side, a cool floral tone touched with tart dark fruit before the rose fully opens. At the heart, rose is joined by geranium and gardenia. Geranium lends a crisp, leafy edge, while gardenia adds a creamy white-flower depth that makes the bouquet feel fuller.
Musk and amber come forward in the drydown. Once the lively bouquet calms, a soft sweetness stays close to the skin as a faint, warm allure. Flora Notis suggests it for moments when you want to feel a little more graceful.
