Resurrected Corpse Flower

A green white floral that turns the overwhelming rot of a corpse flower, smelled at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden in January 2025, into a rebirth of clean white flowers.

ディーエス アンド ダーガ リザレクテッド コープス フラワー 50mL ボトル

In January 2025, Brooklyn was in a fury over the rare blooming of a corpse flower at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. David Seth Moltz, part perfumer and part dreamer in his own words, dropped everything to get a sniff at peak stink, and recorded the humid, rotten-garbage smell growing stronger the closer he came. Resurrected Corpse Flower grew from that visit.

His question was whether all that rot could be cleaned of its stink and made beautiful again: rubbery lily bulbs flowering into soft white blooms, boggy wetland supporting fresh cedar buds. Tuberose absolute, which he describes as one part flower and one part swamp, acts as a bridge between dark materials and radiant ones. Contrast runs throughout, with grapefruit bitter yet fresh, olive earthy yet green, and dark papyrus against light freesia.

What D.S. & Durga presents is a green white floral built with madonna lily, green banana and bog cedar. It is a Studio Juice release, a 50 mL eau de parfum made in small batch.
