Burning Barbershop
A smoky fougère that sets the familiar freshness of a barbershop against the scent of fire.
Perfumer: David Seth Moltz
Burning Barbershop imagines a New York State barbershop after a fire in 1891. D.S. & DURGA built the fragrance around the idea of a shaving tonic left among the charred remains.
Spearmint and lime open with a cool lift, followed by lavender, rose and tuberose. Vanilla and hay run through the finish, accompanied by a smoky burnt-oil note. The result puts an unexpected trace of fire into the familiar freshness of a traditional barbershop scent.
