Jaisalmer
Incense, cardamom, warm spices and dark woods evoke an Indian desert city.
Perfumer: Evelyne Boulanger
Jaisalmer visits an Indian desert city through the Incense series. Cardamom and cinnamon meet incense, connecting dry woody texture with resinous warmth. A sharper spice outline sits beside the rounder amber aspect.
Cardamom, cinnamon and pimento lend their spicy character to incense. Pimento berries bring a warmer spicy edge, rounded by amber and benzoin. Guaiac wood and ebony connect the spices with denser woods.
Choose it when warm spice should feel woody and incense-led rather than mainly sweet. Cooler outings or a substantial fabric can accompany the texture. Begin with a small amount to judge its density.
Evelyne Boulanger created this eau de toilette in 2002. The black cylindrical 50mL bottle carries a silver cap and a purple fragrance name, sharing the restrained form of the series.
