Iron Duke plays on the line between man and beast, conjuring a horse and its rider. Bright metal, cognac, snuff and saddle soap sit over oud, animalic leather and hay.
It opens on dry tobacco and a metallic chill with a heady, boozy edge, and Cambodian oud and star anise are present from the start. The heart settles into soapy leather, with burnt wood, metal and animalic warmth around it.
Dark musk, hay and gunpowder make up the base, leaving a smoky and feral trail.
